Private preview

Stop renting four products to run one restaurant.

Greenfield is restaurant POS for independent operators with one to three locations. Servers take orders and payments on the floor. The kitchen sees tickets. Owners see prime cost. It keeps working when the network does not.

Built for full-service and fast-casual houses. No hardware lock-in.

Offline-first

Orders and cards still go through if WAN drops.

Bring your processor

Stripe Terminal or CardPointe. No hostage hardware.

Ops included

Labor, inventory, and food cost live next to sales.

1–3 locations

Sized for independent houses, not enterprise rollouts.

Product

Every station the floor already has.

iPad service, iPhone handheld, kitchen display, and a macOS admin. One engine underneath, so a void, a split, or an 86 shows up everywhere it should.

Front of house

Floor plan, checks by seat and course, modifiers, comps, splits, and payment — built for a busy two-top turn, not a demo script.

Handheld & KDS

Tableside ordering on iPhone. Tickets fire to the kitchen with hold and course control, so expo is looking at the same check the server is.

Payments

Semi-integrated terminals. Card data never enters our apps. Split tender, tips, and cash drawer kick without a second vendor in the middle.

Admin

Menus, floor maps, devices, reports, and a payments wizard on Mac. Publish once; every station picks it up.

Workforce

Schedule, clock, and labor percent in the same system as the floor. No separate 7shifts-shaped hole in the week.

Food cost & ops

Recipes, counts, waste, and actual vs theoretical next to sales. Prime cost is a daily view, not a weekend spreadsheet.

Approach

The POS should be the operations system.

Independent restaurants are asked to buy a POS, then labor software, then an invoice scanner, then a food-cost tool. Greenfield is the alternative: one ledger for service and the numbers that follow it.

Local-first by design

Service does not depend on our cloud staying up. The venue keeps taking orders and payments, then syncs when the path is clear.

No hardware hostages

Printers, drawers, and readers plug in through a hardware layer. You are not buying a terminal farm you cannot leave.

PCI scope kept small

The certified reader is the only place card numbers belong. Greenfield stores approvals, last four, and a reference — never the PAN.

Built for houses like yours

One to three locations. Full-service and fast-casual. Owners who still walk the floor and do not want a regional-office product.

How it works

A short path from first table to close.

01

Open the table

PIN in, tap a table, set covers. Host waitlist and reservations seat onto the same floor.

02

Fire the board

Items, modifiers, hold and fire by course. Kitchen display and printers follow the check.

03

Pay and see the day

Split, tip, cash or card. Admin shows sales, labor, and food cost without exporting a stack of CSVs first.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Who is Greenfield for?

Independent restaurants and small groups with one to three locations — full-service and fast-casual houses that want floor, kitchen, labor, and food cost in one system.

Does it work if the internet goes down?

Yes. Orders and payments continue locally. Cloud sync waits until the connection returns. That is a design requirement, not a footnote.

Do we have to buy your hardware?

No. Greenfield is built around pluggable printers, drawers, and payment terminals. You are not locked into a house brand of kit.

Which processors do you support?

Stripe Terminal for a turnkey path, CardPointe if you want to keep your own processor relationship. More partners can be added without rewriting the floor app.

Can we use it today?

Not generally. This site is here while we finish private preview with operators. Request access and we will tell you honestly whether the timing fits.
